Olive Balls

If you are looking for a low carb, keto friendly, hormone balancing and not to mention sugar free cheesy treat - then you came to the right page!

This appetizer is not only delicious but super simple to whip up.

It can also be eaten on its own, or served with your favorite dipping sauce like a tomato sauce, or a creamy garlic sauce, or even tossed into a salad for that extra healthy fat and protein.

Here is what I used:

1 cup finely grated sharp cheddar cheese or mozzarella cheese 1.5 cups almond flour cayenne pepper (to taste) 25 green pitted (1 can medium olives) well drained

Sea Salt and Black Pepper to taste

1/3 Warm water

Method:

In mixing bowl or food processor mix together cheese, flour and water. Blend in salt/black pepper and cayenne. Wrap teaspoons of dough around each olive, covering completely. Place so they are not touching on a parchment or wax paper lined tray. Freeze until hardened. Remove from tray and place in bag or container.

Preheat oven to 400*. Place desired amount of cheese balls on a very lightly greased (or parchment lined) cookie sheet. Bake for 15 - 20 minutes, or just until lightly browned.

If you have an air fryer this can also be done there. Place the balls in a greased parchment paper and cook at 400* for about 10 minutes, flipping halfway through.

Enjoy!
