INSTRUCTIONS
Wash and peel pineapple, leaving the stem of the pineapple out.
Fill a pot with water, place the skin of the pineapple and bring to a boil.
Let it cool and serve or keep in fridge to drink as a juice or a base for a smoothie
RECIPE NOTES
Many of us throw away the pineapple skin not knowing that the skin has many vital nutrients. You want to wash the skin really well and then place it into a pot of water, boil it down. By doing this, the nutrients in the skin fall into the water. You can use the water in your smoothies or drinking it as is. You may boil the skin twice or even three times.
