A 3-Part Nutrition Series for Teens Ready to Fuel Their Body and Mind
I’m excited to introduce Eat Smart: A Teen’s Guide to Real Nutrition, a 3-part series designed to teach teens how to make smarter food choices, feel more energized, and understand how nutrition affects their body, mood, and focus. This isn’t your typical health class - it’s real, relatable, and designed specifically for the next generation.
Over the course of three weeks, teens will learn how to fuel their bodies with purpose, understand what’s actually in their food, and discover how nutrition connects to energy, mood, performance, and even hormones.
What Teens Will Learn:
Week 1: Food = Fuel
•Understanding macronutrients (carbs, proteins, and fats)
•The PFF method: building meals with Protein, Fat, and Fiber
•Real food vs. ultra-processed food
•How to eat for better energy and focus
Week 2: Balance & Blood Sugar
•What blood sugar is and why it matters
•How food affects mood, cravings, and energy levels
•The connection between food and hormones
•Smart snack strategies for school, sports, and life
Week 3: Hydration, Hidden Sugars & Habits
•How dehydration and sugar sneak into everyday drinks
•Spotting hidden sugars in “healthy” foods
•Building real habits that last
•Putting it all together: creating a balanced day of eating
