Garbanzo Bean Flourless Brownies

Why not add a little more fibre to your diet, while taking out the gluten! These garbanzo brownies are to die for! I thought making black bean brownies were a hit but not when I tried using garbanzo – otherwise known as chickpeas.

INGREDIENTS

METHOD

  1. Set oven to 350 degrees. Place all dry ingredients in a bowl.

  2. Add whole egg and mix.

  3. Add in the 3 egg whites and mix.

  4. Melt the chocolate chips. Add the coconut oil and the melted chocolate chip. Mix well. You can place it in a mixer to get the creamy consistency.

  5. Pour into greased 9x9 inch baking dish. Sprinkle evenly with chocolate chips. (Feel free to add walnuts, raisins, etc.- just add those in when you add the chocolate chips )

  6. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes or until edges are browned and pull away from edges of the dish.
