How do you get your kids to eat their spinach? After many trials and errors, I finally decided its time to hide the veggies into my kids meals. C'mon the benefits of eating greens are just overpowering that I had to get my kids to consume them somehow. Luckily spinach really has no taste and kids love the idea of being strong like Hulk and so the creation of a Hulk smoothie came into existence without having to hide the green colouring. My kids love this smoothie and I am sure yours too!
SERVES 2-3
INGREDIENTS
1 handful baby spinach
1 ripe banana You can freeze the banan to get an icy texture or add ice
2 cups almond milk unsweetened almond milk is recommended
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tbsp flax seeds
1 tablespoon Coconut Oil
METHOD
Place all ingredients in a blender. Mix and Serve!
For added protein add a tablespoon of chia seeds
