Low Carb Almond Flatbread

Homemade Almond Flatbread

Simple, delicious, and completely sugar and flour FREE! 🍞


You don’t need to be a baker to whip this one up — it’s incredibly easy to make with just a few simple ingredients.


Ingredients:


  • 2 cups almond flour

  • 3 eggs

  • 1 cup shredded Parmesan or Cottage Cheese or Mozzarella cheese

  • 1 tbsp baking powder

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tsp apple cider vinegar

  • Pinch of sea salt


Optional add-ins for extra flavor:


  • Fresh or dried rosemary

  • Mixed herbs (Italian seasoning, thyme, oregano)

  • Minced garlic or garlic powder

  • Swirl of pesto in the batter or spread on top after baking



Method:


  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.

  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the almond flour, baking powder, and sea salt.

  3. Add the eggs, olive oil, and apple cider vinegar. Stir until fully combined.

  4. Fold in the cheese of your choice until the batter is smooth.

  5. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.

  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

  7. Allow to cool before slicing.



This flatbread is perfect as a low-carb snack or as a healthy substitute for bread in your favorite dishes!
